When tasked with hiring the Santa who will pose with kids at Macy’s, Dorey, hires Kris Kringle (Richard Attenborough), who claims to be Santa himself.
National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation
Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase) is determined to have the perfect family Christmas. To achieve this, he spends all his time and energy making sure everything is in place. One problem emerges quickly: his hick cousin, Eddie (Randy Quaid), and his family show up unannounced and move into their camper on Clark’s property.
Kevin McCallister is an 8-year-old boy who lives in an idyllic home. Before leaving for a family vacation in Paris, he crosses the line. His mother, Kate McCallister, punishes him by sending him to the attic where Kevin wishes he didn’t have a family. The following day, the McAllister’s mistakenly leave for the airport without Kevin. Kevin doesn’t know that two thieves plan to rob his house. Kevin must use his wits to outsmart them and protect his home as they break-in.
A modern take on Charles Dickens’s classic “A Christmas Carol” follows Frank Cross, a TV executive who has fired a staff member on Christmas Eve. His cold ambition and self-centered nature have driven away the love of his life, Claire Phillips. He realizes his erroneous ways after being visited by ghosts.
