Who doesn’t love a night on the town with great entertainment? The Suffolk Theater is on a mission to re-establish the cinema tradition in downtown Riverhead, Long Island, New York. Right on Main Street, the Suffolk Theater has been transformed into a full-service performing arts center where guests of all ages can enjoy various shows filled with entertainment.
The Venue
The Suffolk Theater provides many different uses. The performing arts center has a multitude of different showings such as live entertainment, musicians, plays, movies and catered events. These shows can range from country artists to classical comedy shows, or even your favorite movies. The Suffolk Theater wants to bring a wide range of performers that will appeal to everyone in the community, including visitors!
The historical building can hold over 15,000 guests and has become an identity for the area. The Theater projects that it will be the cause of welcoming 4,000 new visitors weekly. Coat check and tickets are also available to buy on site.
Upcoming Events
No matter what your interests are, you are sure to find an entertaining show at The Suffolk Theater. If you want to see some live music, there are plenty of options to choose from. In January, there are several bands and artists playing, so check out Pure Prairie League, Louis Prima Jr. And The Witnesses, or Classic Stones Live.
If the upcoming months are too soon, The Suffolk Theater has shows lined up into August! Comedy Legend Rob Schneider will be in town for laughs too. Tickets go fast so you’ll likely want to plan ahead and grab your tickets online. There are so many great shows to choose from.
